Speculations from recent weeks have been confirmed. Marek Cieślak will no longer lead the ROW Rybnik team. The club officially said goodbye to the coach on Tuesday afternoon.

The club and the coach himself kept the fans from Rybnik in the dark for a long time. Over a week ago, the president of ROW and the trainer met, but they gave each other time to think. Now it has been confirmed that “the Sharks” will be led by a new trainer.

– I would like to thank Marek for working with the team from Rybnik. The promotion objective has not been met, but it is sometimes so. This is what sport is like. The reality is that we have not found agreement on financial matters. We part, however, in friendship. Maybe one day the coach will come back to us – said president Krzysztof Mrozek in the official website of the club.

Let us remind you that Marek Cieślak has been leading ROW since the 2021 season. Under his leadership the team from Rybnik has gone 16 matches. In eight of them, they turned out to be better, there was a draw once, and the team from Rybnik was defeated seven times. In recent days we have informed that Antoni Skupień is the strongest candidate to take over the role of the legendary trainer. The club is to announce the final decision soon.
