Stelmet Falubaz Zielona Góra started the presentation of the line-up for the 2022 season with a strong blow. The authorities of Zielona Góra confirmed that Max Fricke will stay in the club. The Australian is to be the team leader.

Keeping Max Fricke was the most important goal for Falubaz after it turned out that Patryk Dudek would not stay in the club. In the past competition, the man from Mansfield was the second-most effective rider on the team, with an average of 1,816 points per run.

– It was a difficult decision. My career is at a stage where I have to compete with the best. However, when I met the club’s authorities and learned about their vision for the future, I decided that staying in Zielona Góra would be a good move. The club president introduced me to the main goal for the 2022 season, i.e. a quick promotion to PGE Ekstraliga. We also talked about what the squad will look like. Most importantly, this did not only apply to the 2022 season, but to the following years. I liked it and decided to stay. I hope my results will be a big support for the team – said Max Fricke to the club media.

– We met with Max several times. We were sure we wanted to keep him in our team. We are aware of the Australian’s potential, so we also offered him appropriate terms in the contract. Max is to be our leader in the 2022 season and I am counting on him a lot. I am glad that in the 2022 season we will go not only to the max, but also with Max – said Wojciech Domagała, president of the club in Zielona Góra.

Of course, this is not the end of the transfer information from Zielona Góra. Stelmet Falubaz announced a transfer day on November 5, so in the following hours we can expect the presentation of the next riders.
