Avesta Masarna won the 2020 Bauhaus Elitserien away at Kumla with a 39:51 victory tonight, that is 82:98 over the two final matches this week.

Indianerna had a narrow lead, 19-17, after Heat 6 when Kenneth Bjerre and Pontus Aspgren took home a 5:1. But they needed a lead of greater than 5 points to beat the visitors after the result yesterday in Avesta.

And Masarna never let the home team get any closer than that. Vadim Tarasensko played a crucial role in sealing the win for the visitors with two 5:1 wins in Heats 10 and 11, supported by Antonio Lindbäck in the first those heats and Nicki Pedersen in the second.

Indianerna refuses to give up, fighting back with two 4:2 heats of their own in 12, with Aspgren and then 13 with Ludvig Lindgren so that they were just nine points from the title with two heats to go.

But any chance of a comeback and home victory was smashed in the final two nominations heats as Masarna sealed the deal with two more 5:1s to finish off the match and season. It was another Taresenko double, but this time his more decorated partners, Lindbäck and Pedersen who took the 3 pointers as they were on the inside gates this time.
