Max Fricke will remain as a Betard Sparta Wroclaw rider in 2020. The club officially confirms this news and then added that it is a two-year deal (2020-21).
WTS club’s website states:
„Betard Sparta Wroclaw extended Max Fricke’s contract. Season 2020 will be the Australian’s third in our colours.
Former Under-21 World Champion joined Betard Sparta Wroclaw before the season 2018. In the just-finished season, he achieved his best average so far in PGE Ekstraliga, 1,802. Next year will also be Fricke’s debut in the FIM Speedway Grand Prix as a qualified rider, which he did through the GP Challenge.
– Contracting Max Fricke we are continuing our long-term team-building strategy. We are bravely putting faith in young riders with perspectives, at the same time we are trying to tie them down with the club and the city for a longer-term. Max will be riding for the third year in Wroclaw. In each year he was making a progress and we are certain he will make another step forward. – says Andrzej Rusko, chairman of WTS.”
Andrzej Rusko the clubs chief keeps on „building” his riders up. He has boldly called Maksym Drabik the biggest talent of polish sport, not just speedway.
