#LODTAR
Two of eWinner1 top Australian riders, Rohan Tungate (TAR, 16 pts) and Brady Kurtz (LOD, 13pts) went head to head today as Orzel Łódź started their season off in winning style against Unia Tarnow.
Both riders top scored for their respective teams, scoring in double figures and dropping just 2 points in the contest. And when they raced against each other it was Tungate, returning to his home track from last season (in red for Łódź last year in photo), who won 2-1 over Kurtz.
But when it came to the team performance, Kurtz’s Orzeł Łódź ran out victors 50:40 over Unia Tarnów today.
The guests were clearly missing the injured NK Iversen and did not arrive with 8 riders in Łódź. Neither did Gzyl, listed at #2, take a single heat. But that at least gave the team’s U24 rider, Sweden’s Alexander Woentin extra rides including both nomination heats. He scored 4 from 5 rides and seems to be settling in well in his first season in Poland.
Meanwhile for the home team, their U24 rider, American Luke Becker had an even better start to his season with 7+1 including 2 heats wins from his four rides for the winners.
