With bad track conditions to blame only two full matches were completed.

RESULTS

Slangerup 42:45 Holsted

Esbjerg 40:44 Region Varde

NES 11:30 SES (7 heats)

Team Fjelsted 25:19 GSK Liga (6 heats)

REVIEWS AND POINTS

  1. Even with the dramatic Kruse Hansen/ Tungate crash early in Heat 2, this match saw it through to the end with Holsted Tigers hanging on to win despite being chased by the hosts, Slangerup.

Tigers put in a great team performance without Kruse Hansen with all their riders scoring in the double figures. Special praise should go to their #5 Marius Nielsen with 10+1, but it was none other than veteran, Nicki Pedersen who scored the most with 13 pts.
For the hosts, it was, naturally, Mikkel Michelsen, who lead the way with 17 pts, one of only two riders to win his Joker Heat on this chaotic evening.
  2. Despite the loss, the good news for Esbjerg Vikings (and Tarnow) was the return of Niels Kristian Iversen with 15. But victory was secured by the visitors, Region Varde Motorsport, who had both veteran Piotr Protasiewicz and U24 rider, Tim Sørensen ride in with 12+1 each.
  3. Fredrik Jakobsen scored a paid maximum of 8+1 for Fjelsted in their shortened match and Kenneth Bjerre scored 9 by winning his Joker Heat for the GKS Liga.
  4. At Brovst (NES) the night was marred by Huckenbeck being taken away by helicopter. But his teammates from SES scored well before that. Nicolai Klindt got a 9 pts maximum and fellow Dane, Hans Andersen, got a paid maximum of 7+2 before the match finished early.
