Sajfutdinow: I am not convinced that I will start in PGE Ekstraliga this year

I have already invested a lot more than the authorities of PGE Ekstraliga offer us. I hope that the talks will go in the right direction, because this is a topic to be agreed – Emil Sajfutdinow in an interview with Michał Korościel and Jakub Pieczatowski referred to the proposal to cut contracts from the authorities of PGE Ekstraliga and today’s news of Tomasz Suskiewicz, who informed us on the termination of their long-term cooperation.

To the question asked by Michał Korościel whether the Russian rider allows himself the possibility that he will not compete in speedway this year at all, Emil replied in the affirmative. – During quarantine I prepared myself for the best and the worst case. I have already made difficult movements in my career. If I don’t start in the league, I may come back to Russia. I can definitely handle it – said Emil Sajfutdinow, a two-time bronze medalist of individual world championships.

The Russian rider was also asked about his ongoing talks with the Unia Leszno club. – We are talking with Piotr Rusiecki about new terms of the contract. The transfer window will take place between 1 and 7 May and binding decisions will be made by then. Just as we win gold as a whole club, we have to make good moves in this difficult time – noted the rider of Fogo Unia Leszno.

Contract talks are still ongoing and decisions should be made in the near future. However, I only have one sponsor who supports me on a regular basis, and the costs, high costs are still there.
