Not only Grzegorz Walasek has been fighting with the Main Speedway Sport Commission recently. The former speedway rider and now mechanic of Olivier Berntzon, Łukasz Związko, also informed about the imposed penalty. He has been punished with 1,000 PLN because of Facebook post – according to GKSŻ – against the referee’s good name.

Oliver Berntzon’s mechanic had doubts about refereeing the rematch final match, in which Arged Malesa lost to Cellfast Wilki 40:49. Łukasz Związko asked why a referee was sent to the match decisive for the promotion to PGE Ekstraliga, who “shouldn’t be allow to referee even game of pieces”. Moreover, he noted that the arbitrator was devoid of a picture of the situation and did not understand the rules of the speedway motorcycle. The post was published on October 3 and now – after less than three weeks – the punishment has come. As the person concerned himself admitted, he received a penalty of 1000 PLN.

Interestingly, the case of Grzegorz Walask or Łukasz Związko are not the only cases of penalties imposed by the Main Speedway Sports Commission. The number of cases should rather be counted in dozens, but sanctions decisions usually do not come to light, but go to the interested parties themselves.
