Premiership authorities cannot imagine starting the speedway season without public participation. According to British activists, receipts from tickets are too important element of clubs’ functioning to resign from it.

– With the current financial structure, we cannot go behind closed doors. Riding without supporters would be possible only if the money from tickets would not be such an important part of club budgets. We do not have such a situation at the moment, so talks on this topic are irrelevant – quote from speedwaygb.co.uk. Rob Godfrey, head of BSPA.

Let us remind you that on Saturday the decision about PGE Ekstraliga starting was made. The fight for the Polish Team Championship, without supporters, will start on June 12.
