Adrian Miedzinski looks set to leave Toruń after an unsuccessful 2021 season. Miedzinski returned after a two year stint with Częstochowa, but the return to his boyhood club didn’t go to plan and he is now in the market for a new home in 2022.
Speaking to Eleven Sports’ Ekstraliga Show Miedzinski said: “On Monday I had a meeting at my club. I will definitely not be in Toruń next season.
“I think the club has a different goal now, a different vision, and that’s how it is now. So far, I do not know where I will be racing next year.
“At the moment, there are more media reports than I know. However, I would definitely like to stay in PGE Ekstraliga. I know I can do even more. So far, however, I cannot say much about it.”
With Miedzinski’s departure imminent reports have suggested that former world number two Patryk Dudek is being lined up as a replacement. Dudek’s announcement that he would be leaving relegated Zielona Gora has created much speculation, but a move to Toruń could be on the cards.
