ROW Rybnik’s boss, Krzysztof Mrozek, like a seasoned poker player, waited until the last day of the transfer window to unveil his team for the 2020 PGE Ekstraliga season. On a specially organised supporters meeting, they have announced the team.

The newly promoted to the PGE Ekstraliga team has secured services of Andrej Lebedev (on loan from Betard Sparta), Vaclav Milik (a two-year contract) and Robert Lambert. For Lebedev and Milik this is a come back as they have raced in the green and black kevlars in the past.

Robert Lambert spent the past season at Speed Car Motor Lublin. The Brit was filling the reserve spot. The 21-year-old rode in twelve matches for the Lublin club and had a 1,227 average. Vaclav Milik represented Betard Sparta Wroclaw with whom he has won a silver medal. The likeable Czech was not riding at his best last year, as he admitted himself. Rybnik will give Milik a chance to get back to his form. Andrej Lebedev has had a good year at the lower level of racing at Nice 1.LZ. The Latvian raced for his home town club, Daugavpils and he was the league’s 4th placed rider.

The core of the team remains unchanged as the leaders pledged their future at the club. All those who helped PGG ROW Rybnik to win Nice 1.LZ are staying for another year as „Sharks”. The team will consist of Kacper Woryna, Mateusz Szczepaniak, Troy Batchelor and Siergey Logachev (a two-year deal). The junior formation will be lead by their homegrown riders with Mateusz Tudziez and Przemyslaw Giera as the main duo.
