One of the british riders, Jordan Palin, has signed a contract in the Danish league. The Englishman joined the Esbjerg Viking team and was recommended by Bjarne Pedersen.

The team manager – Tom Paarup Madsen – is pleased with the line-up created, which is a mixture of youth and experience. And Jordan Palin is not the only British member of the Viking squad, because recently a three-time world champion, Tai Woffinden, signed a contract with the club.

– Jordan Palin was recommended to us several times, recommended by Bjarne Pedersen, who himself rode with him in the team last season. Palin is a very great talent, which of course still has a lot to learn, but he has already shown that he is able to fight with higher-ranked players. He is 17 years old, but he is already part of the English U23 national teams and we are ready to create the conditions for him to develop – says Tom Paarup Madsen in an interview with the club media. Let’s add that Bjarne Pedersen with Palin started in the British league, and the gentlemen won the championship title with Peterborough Panthers.

And how does the player himself refer to signing the contract? “When I got word from Tom Paarup Madsen that the Esbjerg Vikings were interested in me, I was obviously very happy,” said Jordan Palin.

– I dreamed of performing outside Great Britain and talked about Esbjerg with my English colleagues. They had superlatives about the club, the management and the team itself, so I knew it was the perfect place to start my career abroad. I would like to thank the management for the trust they have placed in me. I’m looking forward to the season to meet the rest of the team and the fans – added the young speedway rider.

Let us add that the British has not competed in Poland yet and has not signed a contract with any team, but this can naturally change. As he admitted recently, there were offers from our country, and although he has not used any of them so far, it is possible that we will see him in the U24 Ekstraliga competition.
