There were only two matches in this during this penultimate weekend of eWinner1 league.

Torun v Tarnów

This game saw Toruń official crowned as champions after a season where they have dominated proceedings. With one week left they have a +/- of 242 and there nearest rivals have a +/- of just 47.

Today was no exception as they crushed the visitors 64:26 with five of the home team riders scoring in double figures.

It was also a victory for Australia over Sweden. Chris Holder lead the team with 13 whilst brother Jack Holder picked up 10+2.

Tarnów were never in the match giving away heat advantages in the first five heats to be 22:8 down before heat 6 had even started.

Sweden’s Kim Nilsson scores just 4+1 and Peter Ljung an unimpressive 3 for the visitors.

Gdańsk v Daugavpils

The home team also won in the other match this weekend, 50:39.

Sweden’s Pontus Aspgren had one his best matches of the season for the visitors picking up 10 to be their second highest scorer.

But Jacob Thorssell only collected 5+1 for the victors, leaving Danish rider, Rasmus Jensen to top score with 12. Compatriot, Peter Kildemand, scored 8+2 for the home team.

For bottom of the table Daugavpils, a miracle is needed in the coming week if they are not to be relegated. Currently the lost of the Bonus Point in the matches against Bydgoszcz looks likely to be the only separating the two bottom of the table teams, meaning the Latvians will come last. The only way to avoid that is if Daugavpils beat Orzel Łódź at home AND Bydgoszcz lose at home to Ostrovia next weekend.
